SOCRATES ERASMUS STUDENTS

French course support for foreign students from European exchange Socrates, Erasmus, Leonardo.

Content : French for communication : spoken and written.
 
Aim : Giving linguistic and cultural training to help student’s adaptation to your life inside and outside the university.
 
Levels : Students are placed in groups of different levels according to a French compulsory test, in September or January depending on their arrival.
The groups and schedule are established by the test.
 
Warning : This course doesn’t suit students of a beginner or elementary level. It is advised for them to follow one trimester of IEFE’s intensive courses to reach a minimum level of communication skills in French.
 
Time : 2 hours of weekly courses at the end of the afternoon (5pm or 5.30pm).
 
Place : IEFE’s rooms, faculté des lettres building.
 
Diploma : Students who wish to do so can do the University Diploma (DU) “Français langue de communication” at the end of their stay (January or May), if the conditions required are fulfilled (refer to the document given at the first course).
 
Exam level : B2 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages credits ECTS obtained following the success of the final exam: 3 for a trimester of courses, 6 for the year.

Students who don’t want or can’t do the DU can ask for an attendance attestation and evaluation from their teachers.

This course is also open to foreign doctorates and trainees from any area of study of the campus.
