French for University Purposes

20-hour course over 10 weeks
Tuesdays, from 5pm to 7pm
Aims:
To be familiar with the French university context and its characteristics in order to learn the "student's job" and succeed in their studies.
Understand university lexicon, work instructions and course expectations (explicit and implicit).
Understand a lecture and take notes.
Knowing how to speak and write in a university context (giving a presentation/ writing a summary, abstract, dissertation).
Methodology :
This French for University Purposes (B2) course will familiarise you with the characteristics and expectations, both explicit and implicit, of the French university system. It will take place face-to-face and will offer you a variety of situational activities in the French university context.
A large part of the course will be devoted to digital activities and resources, offered by the ENVOL project.
Public :
This course is aimed at foreign students with a B2 or C1 level who plan to study in higher education in France.
