Cafés Mundus monthly
Monthly Café Mundus at AQUIU
What is Café Mundus?
- Once a month, usually on the third Thursday of each month, IEFE invites all its international students to CAFE MUNDUS, a gathering and sharing event held at AQUIU, a café-grocery store-performance venue in Pau, located on Passage Carnot, near Les Halles.
- This event is organized by IEFE and UNITA, the alliance of European universities of which UPPA is a member.
- The aim is to talk and discover the languages of the world: depending on who is present, we set up tables for English, Spanish, French, etc. It is also possible to do “speak datings” to present a rarer language (Turkish, Nepali, etc.).
How can you take part in a Café Mundus?
- No registration is required: just come along from 6pm, whenever you can, to AQUIU at the Passage Carnot in Pau.
- We will be there to welcome you and explain which languages are spoken at which tables. We will introduce you to the other participants. The hardest part is finding a free chair.
