BAYONNE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA

 

Bayonne is located 10 minutes from the ocean and Biarritz, 30 minutes from Spain and 40 minutes from the foothills of the Pyrénées mountain range.

 

It is close to the famous seaside resorts of the Basque Coast.

(Biarritz, Anglet, Saint Jean de Luz, Hendaye), the more-inland picturesque little Basque villages (including Aïnhoa, Sare, Espelette and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port) and very close to the wild beaches of the Landes Coast.

 

Basque Country is also very close to Spain: San Sebastian and its historical neighbourhood, Hondarribia and its famous tapas, Pamplona the twin city or Bilbao and its famous Guggenheim Museum.

 

From north to south, Basque Country welcomes you with open arms!
