One of the assets of IEFE is its close cooperation with the FLE department of SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) College.

Most of IEFE's teachers are involved in the FLE university diploma (DU FLE) and Master’s in FLE programmes according to their expertise: e.g. Didactics of FLE, Grammar, French for Specific Purposes, French as an Integration Language, Phonetics and Integration of Digital Tools.

IEFE students can be tutored by first-year Master’s in FLE students if they need it. After discussing with their teacher and from the third week of the course, they can work one-to-one with a future FLE teacher who will be available to them for one hour a week to fill in certain gaps or rework a misunderstood language element.

Throughout the semester, our IEFE students meet occasionally with Master’s in FLE students (welcome drink, campus visit, practice for mock exams). The latter also contribute their time as part of their internship: classroom observations, conducting lesson sequences under the supervision of a teacher and discussions with IEFE students.
