Objective

To provide the linguistic and cultural training that will help students adapt to life at and outside university.

Content

Teaching focuses on general French, i.e. the language of communication, both oral and written, and university methodology in French.
Students are divided into groups of the same level, which are determined by the test that students take at the beginning of the semester. The levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Enrolment

  •   For Erasmus students and international students, the registration form is usually sent when you register for the programme. If you have not received it, you should download the registration form (APPLY FORM), complete it and send it to Vilma Matyas vilma.matyas @ univ-pau.fr.
  •  For people from outside the university, you must download the registration form, complete it and send it to Vilma Matyas vilma.matyas@univ-pau.fr. Please pay the full course fee before the first lesson.
  •  If you arrive after the start of the academic year, you should send an email to Ms Vilma Matyas vilma.matyas@univ-pau.frr, who will be responsible for welcoming you. She will send you a form to complete and a link to take the SELF-FLE online Test, which will enable you to assess your level of French. You will need to return the completed form with the results of the Self-FLE test.  You will be placed in a group according to your level if there is still room in the group. You will then be given your course days and times. Enrolments close 2 weeks after the start of the course.
