Course aims

This Univeristy Dipoma is recognised by all the universities comprising the Campus FLE-ADCUEFE network. The semester-long course in Bayonne validates the A2 level of the CEFRL.

One session in University year 2024-2025

• Semester 2: from January 13. to April 15. 2025,
  210 hours approx., split into 18 hours approx. per week over 12 weeks

Enrolment requirements

Participants must be over 18 and hold either a Baccalauréat or equivalent diploma for end of secondary studies.

The group will go on one or more educational outings as part of a project.

   "Please note that attendance at all classes is assessed in the oral production grade. Students with more than 25% absences will be penalized."

How the placement test works ?

The placement test takes place in 2 stages:

- students receive a link to take an online test before arriving.

- students will take an individual oral interview with a teacher online or face-to-face. 

Based on these tests, the team will assess each student's level.

How DUEF course runs at the CRL Bayonne?

The group will go on one or more educational outings as part of a project.  

DUEF A2 :

This course is aimed at students who are relatively autonomous in everyday communication, but who need to widen their knowledge and means of expression.

Intensive classes (210 hours approx.)

Rhythm: 18 hours per week

Group is limited to approx. 6 to 15 students per class.

Entry level: level A1 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Entry requirement: placement test results or DUEF A1

Level upon completion: level A2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Regular independent work is required of students at this level

Assessment is based on continuous evaluation throughout the semester: students are assessed twice on their listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.

The first assessment takes place mid-semester, the second at the end of the semester. Exam dates will be announced at the beginning of the semester.

What are the fees for 2024-2025 ?

IMPORTANT: All students registered at a French university must pay the CVEC (103€) to finalize their registration before the start of classes. How to register

You register online via the French government's website "Démarches Simplifiées".

1) Create an account on "Démarches Simplifiées" : choose a username and password.

2) You will need to provide the following 3 documents to complete your application:
- Copy of your passport or ID card
- Photocopy of your diploma equivalent to the french bac (secondary school diploma)
- Passport photo

3) Fill in the form "Enrolment for January-April 2025 course at CRL Bayonne UPPA" and click "Déposez votre dossier" at the bottom of the page.
You will then receive an e-mail confirming your application. Once your application has been accepted, you will receive our bank details to proceed with your payment of the fees by bank transfer.
